A Warm Welcome to Monty’s Montessori School
Monty’s Montessori is a special place that celebrates the personality of each child by meeting their individual needs guided by the philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori.

We provide a warm interesting environment which nurtures the children’s social integration by allowing them freedom to choose and time to discover a place within their own little world.

Our Aims

Our aim is to provide an outstanding early years education for children aged between 2.6 and 6 years. To nurture the personality of each child and meet their individual needs through the Montessori Philosophy and the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum. (EYFS)

To create a safe and structured culturally diverse community where each child’s potential is nurtured and their individuality is celebrated.

To provide a beautiful and interesting learning environment where children can feel at home from home, which in turn promotes a joy of learning encouraging curiosity, creativity and imagination, forming a positive foundation that will grow with them throughout their early years education and beyond.

Through individual and group learning we aim to develop social and emotional integration.

Our open plan indoor and outdoor learning environments provide ample opportunity for vertical grouping where children of varying ages play, work and learn together. This allows them freedom to choose and time to discover their place in the world as responsible confident thinking individuals who are well prepared for their next stages of education.

Monty’s Montessori aims to employ, male and female Montessori teachers who are passionate about delivering a high standard of early years education who have a compassionate approach and who understands the importance of following each child’s natural rhythm and developmental progress. Lateral thinkers who are team players in their own right.

With our open door policy we aim to maintain a strong home school link, which allows parents and carer to become part of the schools ethos and the children’s learning experience. This partnership and open dialogue creates a family atmosphere which provides the children with the opportunity to share their new found experiences within their home environment.

To become a school that is proactive within its local community in helping children who are less fortunate than others.

We aim to choose and support one charity a year either raising funds through the parents and local community or we will donate individually.

Charities donated to:
• Childline
• Sense
• Feed the children
• Help the blind
• City farm
