| Complaints Procedure |
Ofsted requires every school to keep a complaints record, which should be accessible to all staff and parents at all times.
When complaints are made, they are logged in the complaints book with confidentially, discretion and anonymity. No person making the complaint or any persons (adults or children) that relate to the complaint should be named.
Complaints are filed accordingly
1.Source of Complaint
2.Nature of complaint
3.How it Was Dealt with
4.Actions and Out Comes
All complaints will be investigated as a matter of priority. Findings of an investigation and the actions taken (if any) will be shared with parents with in 28 days from the date of complaint.
Temporary Suspension
Depending on the nature of the complaint the school reserves the right to temporarily suspend a family from the school until full investigations have been completed.
In extreme cases and depending on the outcome of the investigation the school reserves the right to ask the family to find an alternative school for their child/children. In this instance their child/children will be allowed to continue attending the school until an alternative placement is found. If, during this time, the parents of the child/children deem that a shadow teacher should be allocated to the child/children then it is the responsibility of the parents to financially support the need for additional staffing for their child/children.
