| Outing Procedure |
The School organises an outing once every term. Parents are informed by letter detailing the method of transportation, dates, location, group(s) taken and costs. They are required to sign and return a permission slip. We ask parents to volunteer to accompany the children. If we cannot meet the 1:2 ratio for under-threes and 1:3 ratio for under-fives school trips, the school is obliged to cancel the trip for safety reasons.
On public outings, the designated person in charge is the principle, Carole Montana and Lucy Haughian the deputy manager. The children all wear fluorescent identification bands with the school’s name and telephone numbers printed on it. The school mobile telephone is taken on all outings. This number is: 07963 686131.
The school takes the following items on every outing, these are
● A first aid box
● A copy of the children’s emergency forms
● The accident book
● A change of accident clothes and spare plastic bags
● Sun cream
● Sun hats
● Picnic blankets
● Fruit snacks
● Water bottles |
