| Unwell Child Procedure |
The school places extreme importance on the health of the children, and it is the responsibility of the school community parents and teachers alike to keep the children healthy. A child should not be sent to school if they show signs of illness, a persistent cough or runny nose, diaoria, vomiting or fever out of consideration for the child and the health of the other students.
It is also considered that children needing to take medication such as antibiotics are not well enough to attend school. No medication will be administered to children at school except those suffering from chronic conditions such as asthma, epilepsy, cystic fibrosis etc.
In order to maintain proper supervision of children at all times, we discourage parents to request that children stay inside during garden time. If your child is too sick to be outside then they are likely to be still at a point in their illness where they should not be in contact with other children. Please keep your child at home until they are able to fully participate in all school activities.
