Wet Weather Policy
Monty’s Montessori is an all weather school because we value the outdoor environment. The children love to play and explore in our gardens and benefit hugely from the experience. Unless the conditions are extremely treacherous, the children will continue to use the garden during wet weather.

Parents are requested to provide their child with strong waterproof clothing (A rain coat and trousers) and Wellington boots that can be kept at school. During the winter months, the grassy garden does get very muddy in areas and the children do get muddy.

If a child needs to stay indoors for any reason, parents must inform the school during the induction day at the beginning of term.
