Clothing

It is important that the children wear to school clothes that you do not mind getting dirty. This allows them to explore freely especially with art and gardening. To encourage independence please try and provide easy fastening shoes such as velcro.

Please name all clothing to be worn during school times; Monty’s Montessori School cannot take responsibility for the loss of unnamed clothing.

Monty’s Montessori children carry a reflective book bag to school. These are available from the school office and cost £11.00.

The children wear legionnaire sun hats outside during the summer months. These hats are designed to shield the child's head and neck from sun exposure and cost £7.00 from the school office.

Parents/careers must provide sunscreen during the summer season.

Slippers are worn inside the school building. Please ensure that the child’s name is clearly marked on both slippers. These will be kept at the school.

Wellington boots and water proofs are needed for garden time. Please ensure that the child’s name is clearly written on both boots and both waterproof jacket and trousers. These will be kept at the school.

Music, Dance and Languages

These are taught by specialist visiting teachers and will be charged accordingly 'these activities are compolsury if your child attends on the specific day'.

Toys
